Biography
Junie & TheHutFriends is a Pittsburgh-based indie/funk group operating at the intersection of art, music, and technology.
Consisting of frontwoman/robot enthusiast, Junie Grey and her cloaked band of “Hut Friends,” the group attempts to craft a technicolor universe, explored through layered synth pieces, collages of dynamic vocals, and narrative music videos featuring robotic props.
Inspired by the likes of Kate Bush and Kool & The Gang, the group’s unique blend of indie/funk has earned them a spot on The Owl Mag’s “Tracks of The Week” list, as well as a placement on The After Eight Show’s radio program.
Ammonia Baby is the second single from the band’s debut EP Diary Of A Chaotic Neutral, to be released Spring 2020.
